Meet our Tigers

Slumberland would not be Slumberland without it’s iconic brand logo featuring the majestic tiger.

Our planet will also not be the same for future generations if we allow this regal creature to become extinct.

“Wild tiger numbers are at an all-time low. We have lost 97% of wild tigers in just over a century. Tigers may be one of the most revered animals, but they are also vulnerable to extinction. As few as 3,200 exist in the wild today.”

Since 2010 Slumberland has sponsored the tigers at the Johannesburg Zoo and the National Zoological Gardens of South Africa (Pretoria Zoo).

At the Johannesburg Zoo, Slumberland sponsors two very playful tigers – Olga and Orcha.

Olga and Orcha were born on the 3rd March 1998 in the Mulhouse Zoo and brought through to the Johannesburg Zoo on the 21st October 1999.

At the National Zoological Gardens of South Africa (Pretoria Zoo) Slumberland sponsor three majestic tigers –  Lolo, Leah and Winston.

Winston is a white tiger with blue eyes which makes him a sight to behold to all who visit the tiger enclosure.
